Here is your assignment, Em. Some of my favorite blogs calivintage and the clothes horse have been writing about the Spring 2010 Rachel Antonoff presentation. I am obssessed. The setting seems almost like a slumber party or sleep away camp...the clothes are 1950s and 1960s inspired looks which are so clean and graphic and playful. Create a look using this line as inspiration!

I saw that link on Sartorialist this morning too! here is my own spin with a light denim number from the 80s. black turtleneck from target, thrifted scarf and skirt, nine west boots. Just biked to art history in this outfit...sorry people on grace street....hope you liked seeing my bike shorts.

girl scout

Great day. My Senior Thesis project was approved! The sky is blue! and Emily likes my hair style aspiration! I feel a bit like a girl scout in this outfit. Thrifted Button Down, Green Ribbon, Denim Sailor Skirt from JCrew, Nine West Boots and Black Tights.

jean jacket

so excited to finally break out my 1980s jean jacket, which was a gift from my friend Sandy! Worn with black skinny jeans, coral flats from urban outfitters, and my favorite blouse. This blouse rocks. It can be worn four ways: post to come!

 Emily is in Ireland and Paris, I am anxiously awaiting her return! I hope she posts some pretty outfits and adventure pictures. I am postponing my haircut until I get the second look approval!
